MCB Secure is an online service which generates a one-time password that is known to you only. It protects your MCB credit card from unauthorized use while you are shopping.

How does MCB Secure work?

MCB Secure generates a digital receipt which you sign off using your SecureCode and/or Verified by Visa in the form of a one-time password.

Each time you shop online at a participating merchant, an MCB-branded window will pop up to require authentication using your MCB Internet Banking USER ID.

After successful authentication, you will receive the SecureCode and/or Verified by Visa in the form of a One-Time Password via SMS to the mobile number you registered beforehand.

You will then need to complete your transaction by inserting the received password.

If you do not register your credit card, you will not be able to shop online at participating merchants.

Added security

A One-Time Password (OTP) is a password that is valid for only one transaction and which lasts 5 minutes only. For each transaction, you will receive a different password via SMS for better security.
