MCB Cards informs its customers that Clause 10.8 of the Cards Rules and Regulations will be amended as follows with effect from 15 August 2012:

For transaction effected in any currency other than the currency of the card account, the transaction amount shall be converted to the currency of the card account at the Payment Card Network’s rate, if applicable, and then at the MCB rate prevailing on the processing date.

In addition MCB shall include a charge on the conversion amount as referred to in Clause 18.4 of the Cards Rules and Regulations.

Except as provided in these presents, the terms and conditions of the Cards Rules and Regulations shall remain unchanged and in full force.
