Fixed Deposit

If you’re looking for a safe investment option with guaranteed returns, then you’ve found it.

Earn higher returns

When it comes to savings, be in control with a fixed deposit. Simply decide how much money you want to put away and the period of time you want to invest for. Get guaranteed returns, always higher than a normal savings account.

What you need to know to get started and lock your savings away.

Invest with an initial amount of Rs. 100,000
Place funds for a nominated period ranging from 7 days to 60 months (7 days, 3, 12, 24, 36, 48 to 60 months)
Pick from available interest payment frequencies: monthly, quarterly, yearly or at maturity
The interest rates vary depending on the term and the prevailing savings rate. Interests can be paid at varying points
You can’t add funds to the deposit during the contract duration
You can decide for early withdrawals if you really need to; an interest adjustment and a penalty fee will apply

Save Smartly

Your Secure Investment

A wise move: one placement and the certainty of return.

  • Earn a guaranteed, higher return than on a standard savings account
  • Enjoy competitive rates for investments of longer terms and higher amounts
  • Use your fixed deposit as a guarantee for a loan facility
  • We’ll notify you when your term is about to reach maturity

Consider your Options

When your term is up you can choose to

  • reinvest the initial placement and interest earned at maturity
  • reinvest your capital and have the interest received paid to an MCB account
  • reinvest a portion of your capital and get paid the remainder with the interest
  • get paid both your principal and the interest to the designated account
  • have the fixed deposit to roll over automatically with the same term as before and at the rate applicable at the time of maturity
  • simply add more funds to reinvest
